1. A comprehensive range of sea-sports facilities can be found:
a) Geroskipou Public Beach, at Geroskipou, 3 km east of Pafos Harbour.
b) Dasoudi Public Beach, in Lemesos
c) Larnaka Public Beach

 2. The major sea-side hotels with their adjoining sports-centres, where non-residents are also welcome.

3. The sea-sports sites of commercial firms which are strung along the coastline at:
a) Coral Bay: 10 km, north-west of Pafos town.
b) Polis (Lakki/Latsi): 37 km, north of Pafos town.
c) Various spots along Lemesos, Larnaka, Pafos, Agia Napa and Paralimni (Protaras) coasts.
Note:On every beach red buoysindicate the swimmers’ area, where speed-boats and any other floating craft are not allowed to enter.

  • www.smiley.cy.net/basspro. With 25 dams to choose from you are sure to make that catch of a lifetime. Some of the popular fish in the fresh water of the Cyprus dams are; Brown Trout, Silver Bream, American Channel Catfish, Roach, Mirror/Commom Carp, Largemouth Bass, Pikeperch, Rainbow Trout, Tilapia, Bleak, Rapfen, Red Swamp Crayfish, Mosquito Fish, Perch, Tench, Eel, Crucian Carp. Enough to keep you busy for a few hours.   

Blue Flag Beaches

  • Limassol District- The Limassol district to the east of Paphos also has 11 blue flag beaches. These are Akti Olympion, Aoratoi, Aphrodite, Armonia, Castella, Kalymnos, Loures, Onisilos, Pissouri, Santa Barbara and Vouppa. The beaches of Santa Barbara and Loures are the most popular of the 11 beaches. Aphrodite beach is well worth a visit too, if only to view Aphrodite's Rock - a place from where legend tells that the Goddess of Love herself rose out of the sea.
  •  Paphos District- There are 11 blue flag beaches in the district of Paphos. These are Alykes, Polis Camping Site, Coral Bay, Faros, Geroskipou, Laourou, Municipal Baths, Municipal Beach, Pachyammos, Vrysoudia A and Vrysoudia B. All beaches offer clean and beautiful sands on which to play and sunbathe. Coral Bay in the Peyia municipality is a great beach for kids as the sands slope into the sea at a very shallow angle.
  •  Larnaca District - Larnaca district has only 4 blue flag beaches. These are Castella, McKenzie, Phinikoudes and Yanathes. Phinikoudes beach is the main beach that fronts the promenade. It is a long beach and is often quite busy being so close to the town. McKenzie beach on the outskirts of Larnaca town is a much quieter beach and can be reached by public transport or hire car.
  • Ayia Napa District- The district of Ayia Napa contains the remaining blue flag beaches. These are Ammos tou kampouri, Ayia Thekla, Gliki Nero, Katsarga, Kermia, Konnos Bay, Landa, Louko tou Mandi, Louma, Macronissos, Nissi, Nissi Bay, Nissia Loumbardi, Pantahou, Pernera P, Pernera A, Potami, Protaras, Vathia Gonia, Vrisi A, Vrisi B and Vrisi C. Nissi Beach and Macronissos Beach are both popular with the partying crowds of Ayia Napa. At the opposite end of the spectrum Konnos Bay offers peace and tranquillity in abundance.

Horse Riding

  • There are two horse riding schools with close proximatey to the village of Zygi. Elias Beach Country Club Part of the Elias Beach Hotel this club has a huge variety of activities which include horse riding for beginners and experienced riders (there are over 300 horses here), shooting, archery and a buggy nature trail. Situated just outside Limassol.
  •  Amathus Park Riding cluband schoolat Parekklisia Village, Limassol. The schol runs the following classes: Beginners introduction, Saturday junior club, dressage tuition, jumping and pleasure riding.
  • Another riding school to consider is the Moonshine Ranch and Riding School in the Cape Greko area of Protaras. Offering daily rides for experiences and novice riders alike including children. Bar facilities are also available.

Go Karting

  • Formula Karting Center. The first karting track in Nicosia. Birthday parties, corporate events and hospitality, big and small groups for karting and kart-motorcycle races. Located 5 minutes from Nicosia at Kokkinotrimithia Road, Paliometoxo.
  • Go-Kart - The Need 4 Speed Go-kart track at Erimi, Limassol. For ages over 7 years. Regular racing competitions open to the public. Fun for the whole family. Private parties and birthday parties on advance request.
  • Karting Center Go-Karting centre located at Dromolaxia in Larnaca. 1600 metre outdoor track where visitors can race each other. Suitable for children and available for birthday parties

Paintball

  • KWEST Paintball Parkis located in an area near Stavrovouni and may host Paintball teams, groups of friends or organized company functions. Anyone over 14 years old may play, men and women. No special skills are required and anyone may play and enjoy the action that this game offers for any skill level. Fun and entertainment for all the participants is the main goal of the personnel and trained Marshals who supervise the games. Paintball is a team sport and physical strength is not a necessity as quick thought and reaction along with courage and luck may bring victory during a game. A group of friends, minimum of 10 people is required to make up teams of 5 to 10 people per team, and play the game with different scenarios for as many games as they like. Teams of 7 or 8 is ideal and such are the teams that are formed for competitive purposes or for games with other KWEST Paintball Park member teams.
  • DNA PAINTBALL LTD, Yeroskipou,Paphos. Established in 2004 and it is the biggest and longest running Paintball Park in Cyprus. We are currently operatingthree theme fields, the Speed-Ball, the Rec-Ball and the U-Ball. Each field has a unique identity and it offers different types of entertainment. The speed ball is made for the adrenaline junkie that enjoys a video game like rash, where fitness, accuracy and training count. DNA Paintball Ltdhas adequate facilities to entertain approximately 80 people simultaneously.We incorporate a 200 square meter cafeteria with a viewing deck and all the necessary facilities that players and guest might require. The cafeteria serves a wide variety of soft drinks and cold refreshments as well as coffee and tea in the winter. We also have the right facilities for BBQ’s and all sorts of parties or organised events.
